Review detected location, device, time, and author risks.

Enable the metadata categories that should be removed.

Keep an original copy when the metadata may be needed later.

Run cleanup and review the exported copies.

What to keep in mind

  • Metadata cleanup cannot be undone on the generated copy.
  • A field can only be removed when it is present and readable in the source file.
